Installation Steps: 1. The timer switch has 4 wires, but all 4 wires do not need to be used during installation. 2. Make sure the wall box has a hot wire, load wire, and neutral wire before purchase. 3. The neutral wire is required for the timer switch to function properly. 4. The timer switch will not work without the load wire (red wire).
